HI All,
With the weather improving the Tuesday spins are up and running. The loop takes in three of the best trails close to Dublin (Legends DH, Bag of Chips and the trail through Knocksink). Its 35km or 2 - 3 hours or there abouts and there are options to bail out if you want / need to.
Despite what you might think, this is not just a spin for the fast lads. You can definitely use it for training if you want and it will make you faster/fitter and your skills will improve but its really all about the craic. (watching Harry let all the air out of his tyre as he tried to pump it up was a particular highlight last night, as were the comments on Ben's lobster tan and Paul's freckles/tan).
So, if you get a chance, turn up at 6.30 at Lamb's or organise a group to leave earlier and give it a spin - I can't think of anything better to be doing on a Tuesday evening than cycling across the top of the Dublin hills.
Cheers, Dave
