Now that we have the green light to host the CX Race in Firhouse on Sunday 21st Oct, I think it's time to start getting the names down on the lists for who is available on the day to help out. As the last events have run like clockwork it would be brilliant to live upto the high standards of previous events, but for that to happen we need all hands to the pumps and get as many to help out on the day as possible so don't be shy and get stuck in.
It's always flat out for the first few hours setting up barriers and taping out so it would be great to have as many as possible from 7:50. Early risers will get the marshal stations with all the action.
I will go through all the ins and outs with everyone on the morning.
So I think the simplest way to see how we stand is do the same as I done last year and just post up a list for who's available to marshal what race on the day.
Please post up what races u are happy to help out with and I will add u to the list.
Also please text me number your number incase we need to contact each other on the day and so I can add u to a group for Marshal and so I can send on a guideline and little list of bits and bobs that might be useful on the day, don't worry it won't be one of them annoying groups with sh#te talk all through the weeks and days leading upto it.
I have family visiting that weekend so not sure if I can help out at this stage.
