I've been plugging away at it the last 2 weekends, managed to clear a rideable path more less same way it went originally.
Need to mattock out a lot of dead roots and generally tidy it up a bit.
Planning to do a few hours next Saturday if anyone has some spare time to help. Time TBC
A McLeod rake is all you need, or a mattock. No cutting needed so don't bring any more tools.
Gloves essential and be prepared to get dirty, it's all covered in ash.
