Was reading the tallest tree in Ireland is along the powerscourt demense river walk. I must've cycled past it a few times, hopping the wall at the bridge and cycling up to main house. Never realised it's there. Is it easy to find? Gotta be a photo opportunity. Might be along that route tomorrow. Another powerscourt question, does the gate up through the golf course ever open? Don't want to cycle up a dead end

I made a half hearted effort to find it last weekend. Stopped some walkers, they said it was back the way I'd come although they'd never seem it either. Wasn't bothered turning around. I read online, the owners have built a path to it. Only members of powerscourt get told where the secret path is
