Right an update on the current position re round 3 of K Capital Cup that EPIC are hosting on the 14th April in Djouce.
At the moment all the work re insurances, permits, first aid, etc is all in hand
What we now need is commitment from the members to take on some work as well.
It is provisionally planned to work on course preparation on the week end of 30/31 March and if needed Sat 6th April . Course will be getting taped out on Sat 13th April. So some dates for your diaries there.
For race day Sunday the 14th April it will be all hands on deck from 8.00am to be prepared for first races at 10am think most members know the drill for set up, barriers ,loos ,sign on gazebos, signage in place plus a million and one thinks to be done, the more people that help the better and also remember also after races all needs to be taken down course stripped of tape
At the moment volunteers required urgently to take on some tasks in advace so that we can have a well run event give me a call or mail
1 Take control of a team to run under age races
2 Chief Marshall to organise parking and course marshalls
3 Sign on desk is being organised by Erica

Work to be done tape course ,clear ground for under 6 race, tape off other trails, check course for obstacles like branches,stumps etc, have lunch bring a mug if you would like tea or coffe afterwards ride a lap or 2

Remove locks from barriers 8-00 am the show begins
Barrrriers Loos arrive 8-30, 9-30 Paramedics arrive, Set up Sign on gazebo + finish line gazebo for commissar, podium placed, under age races direction signs, no parking signs in place, barriers to be put in place, course inspection/lap check all in order,
Garry is looking after marshalling/parking, Erica sign on, Dave under age racing , Max is commissar
When you arrive please go to sign on desk, sign on give mobile number to crew collect hi vis jacket must be worn ,then check with Garry what your task will be
Note Garry is looking after the marshalling/car parking and will need a long list of people to call on so please help
Marshalls are required from the word go to control the car parking access and allotting spaces app 4, For underage Dave’s team running races plus 4 marshalls, Minimum of 10 plus for A-B races all in place by 12-15pm race starts 12-30pm. Also assistant for Commissar, Start line team 2/3, Podium presenter for trophies that’s a small sample of what you might be asked to help with so plenty of work for all to go round
