Spin of the year again!!

I love this recession..mountainbiking is the best antidote ever..
tonights spins were amazing..first me and Carol, Nat,Karl,Don, Al S, Darragh,RickL, Cathal and Ian went down xtc, up the forest path, down Bulldog, along gwangi, up to the middle car park, across the Yumps, down catskin ,back up the forest path, down Toro, back on to Gwangi, down Gwangi Ultimate, onto the fireroad up to Benchcut, down Benchcut, back up the fire road
..then the fun started for real
Me Al S, Alfie, Jimmy Osmonde,Jack, Fergal, John Doris went down down xtc , blldog, Gwangi, middle carpark, yumps, past the lake , up Nude Ack, all the freakin way to the river, up the other side, all the freakin way, over the wall, alll the way up Maulin ( savage ), down the magic walking trail, down the gorse hell hole through Powerscourt, up the Earls drive, around the dried up lake. down Toro, down Gwangi, up the fire road, down benchcut, son of benchcut then back to the car park..
I hope to jaysus the rest of the club was riding their bikes somewhere else on such a fantastic evening, after a Winter of smud and constant dreariness, it would be a crime to be doing anything else !!

the distance and terrain you can cover on these bikes never fails to amaze me
funniest stunt of the night was Al's wheelie to endo to footplant to what-the -fook-was-that? trick
we were stunned, total skill and blatant eejitery all in the one move
the last rip down benchcut and benchcut's ******* was a great way to round off a deadly night
I pity the fool who was checking out "Becky's pink bra" on Horrornation Street instead of being hailed as offroad gods like the rest of us were....

Don't forget the tomfoolery surrounding the tyre repairs !! and fair play to the jackser again, he hung in their like a rapid bulldog..fair play Jacksie, fair play..I was on a mission to cripple tonight and I failed, which is a good thing !!

Can't believe you did all that after our 'warm up'. That was unreal tonight, I've never seen the trails so dry, dusty and grippy. It was MTB heaven. I just wanted to keep on going all night but toward the end my gears had totally seized up. Great to see all the new trails, amazing amount of work went into the lower section of catskin, fair play Robin you off camber madman. Nice pace, operation Shamu seems to be working. Dara has the hint of the loon going DH, nice moves. Cheers Richie for the tour. Buzzing me head off, no point trying to sleep yet.

Thanks Richie, it was a deadly spin. the route was great and always good try out trails in the opposite direction. I had to make up for going bang last sunday so determined to keep you guys in view...!
