This years XC NPS is held again in Djouce woods. Club members are obliged to help out in some fashion.
Thats all members, Marshalls , people to make sandwiches and organise the food at the end, people to walk the course afterwards and take down the tape.
If you have a particular talent you feel might make the event the best one in the country, then by all means let me or the other Committee members know.
Diggers are not needed as the course is finished.
Sponsors are always good as long as its not another Bike Shop than Hollingsworth.

Cathal Jordan is the Head marshall and he will need marshalls
Anybody want to volunteer to organise Sandwichmakers and cake makers.
Anybody else want to see if they can get sponsors.
Mark Kenny from K Capital Source and grange motors have come on board as Sponsors.
We also need 2 people to run the laptop timing software as backup for the red tag timing we will be using , anybody else ?
Fergal Kilkenny from MAD has offered his services to me.
I don't want serious racers, several of which have also offered to help out giving up their race. This is the final round of the XC NPS and final standings are up for grabs.

That's the plan Rory - I'll be helping with the behind the scenes stuff (online registration etc..) and Sports race timing if needed etc.. so that leaves me free to do my race - wouldn't miss it for the world!
Heres the plan..
Sports help the Age categories and Age Categories help run the Sports race.
the only thing that needs bodies is the marshalling..and thats only about 10.
the food operation needs 2 people.
Laptop operation needs 2.
We have over 100 members.
Thanks Oz..then you need a Monster Shouter ( number shouter)
And yes..if everybody does the sandwich thing that would be deadly..
Some of those cakes with the other Clubs abuse on them would be good..

I will do the timing and they need to Organise the prize giving for the
Under 8
Under 10
Under 12.s
each youth race will have a different course.
but we will be doing their prizegiving while the Sports race is on.
