Club Membership News

We hope that you are well and getting a chance to get out for a few spins.

The committee are working away in preparation for when the club are allowed to organise spins, run the club league and maybe even organise a CX race. We have also been discussing what the club can do for the members at this time.

Having reviewed the finances we decided that in the absence of anything else to spend the club's money on, to make membership for the rest of the year free. Yep, nada, zitchl, zero.

If you already paid your membership for 2021 you will be getting a refund in the next 5 - 10 days (this is Stripe's timeline).

If you have not already renewed your membership, head on over the CI website, get your licence for the year and sign up. You need either a Leisure Licence (spins only) or a Limited Competition (club league) licence.

If you have any queries about this head over to the forum (which got a makeover recently) and post up.

So the limited competition licence is €90 to upgrade , is that right?

All the answers re what you get for your ci membership are over on the ci site
Hard work reading down all the various documents

Some items worth noting
Club and committe insured for actions, decsions made on our behalf
Club gest acces to indemity insurance to run events spins ,league, events which is required by land owners generally around 6.5million per day per event, also cover to club members who run and assits at events.
Even if club was not to run anything we are supporting other clubs to have insurance for events we attend

When taken out ci membership you get 30 euro discount on ,LC license 120 for none club members so not bad for ticking a box and joining a club
