This was a savage race, 4 minute course, the toughest cometition of any class was in the juniors. His first race at this sort of level, not only did he get 16th in Europe, he was the fastest Irish lad after the split, elites included.

I was just happy to have taken 10 seconds out of my seeding time which I was happy with.
It was some race, there were some really quick people there and the track was amazing, I wish you masters got to ride that top section, it was so much fun! we need more steep stuff like that over here, and to think people thought dunmanway was steep!
The pedal at the end was painfull too, I gagged twice in my seeding run on it I was so exhausted and somehow found some strength in my race run for it, thats the club leagues kickin in right there!
I wish I could go back there and do it all again, great experience!
