I’ll be back from holidays early next week and am in Sligo for the night on Thursday with work and am going to bring the bike.
I would usually head for Union Woods but am thinking about trying Coolaney for a change. Has anyone here had a spin there and what’s it’s like?
Me and Niamh did a quick spin there last year. It's fine but very trail centre. Longish cycle up for some coillte trails down. Union woods is deffo better craic! But watch out for the ticks.

Yeah ticks are a big issue there. We had a local showing us around last year and she warned us about them. When we got back to our accommodation I checked and had been bitten, although Niamh wasn't. Had to go and get antibiotics after that. 10/10 would not go back to union woods after that but the trails were good
