The Club league So far

Hello..
Mainly due to the contribution of Fergal Kilkenny this years Club league is the best yet.
The handicapping is working great, it errs on the side of the less experienced.
Don't complain about the handicaps, I will ignore you.
It is difficult to read the hanidcaps each week.
The object of the Club league is to teach members how to get better on the bike.
People should be looking at their laptimes and having the craic.
Theres no need either for people to barge into slower riders, especially the smaller riders and the ladies.
I have had one or 2 comments made to me about this, not complaints ( people are too nice !!)
If I get another one, the barger will be ****ed out of the league, end of story.
This is not a rant, i just want to point out a couple of things.
The improvements in people are fantastic.
I am also of the opinion that theres no point in being in EPIC if you don't make it to any of these races, unless of course you are way out of town.
I would like to see a few more riders there from other clubs.

This year the thing has really come together, the course, after years of tweaking by Byrner is near perfection, the timing, thanks to Fergal, has attracted lots of new people and kept them coming, the handicaps have kept the mortals enthused, the weather has been great, guys have taken time to photograph races, the craic in Palmers, it's hard to see how it could be any better. Usually by now the numbers would be dwindling, that's not going to happen anymore. It's a huge success and those that have delivered it deserve the appreciation of everybody.

awww...ye're too kind, all I did was add a bit of geekery, and as Gerry says, geeks make the world go round...
I love that league and the course, great bunch of people on full throttle but still able to have a laugh, the improvements in people are vast alright
The photos, lap times etc, craic, burgers and pints afterwards round off what is always a great evenings racing

For a geek you do a brilliant job with all the geekery stuff. Fare play.

Cant seem to find mysels in the members listing? Whats the story with clothing eg; shorts tops etc Im looking for. What do the club have now?

did you get a licence ?..theres club gear after arriving, keep an eye on the Forum for info..Jack will be dealing it out this week..!
