We do need..those tractors we had for the uplifts last year..
We do need a big sponsor or several small sponsors handing over at least â¬500.
There will be digging, but I will tell you where.

Don't forget them clothing lads in america Richie, www.brandnewclothing.com they said to me they could make up special t-shirts for the blast and stuff. we could sell them and then have ones for the winners aswell with 4th deadliest mountainbiker on them or something.

at the moment, we are trying to secure a field near the original Finish..
either way i want to reopen " Railblazer" to replace Alans schlompfest and that ridiculous humpy m69 section.
Railblazer is well drained but needs serious rejuvenating to make it back in to a classic.
We won't be spending hours on sections like last year, the weather just takes away any hardwork.
There is scope for another section of trail but I have tp see how we are fixed with the field.
Fergals Section and the other short buststops on the fireroad of doom need attention...
We won't be turning left on to the Dafydd tyrail and using skippys patio..instead we'll stay on the Fireroad of doom..
I have to look at that more closely and again depending on the field, we'll either go right and on to Rail Blazer or left through an old forgooten firebreak and a whole new bottom section.
I'm loathe to use Timberwork, that just seems to upset Coillte.
If we do build any it has to be removed that evening by the builders.
WE have to allow for the weather, we'll assume the whole place will be wet.
And seriously , this is all hands on deck. No excuses.

marshalls, Cake makers and caterers..
Richard lynch will be my Assistant at the finish line area. He bagged that job first.
Along with Damo and Alfie, BON and numerous others at the finish line.
This is just a teaser thread to get you people thinking. I want to see good solid ideas and I want to see people mail me with sponsorship offers.

I too am behind you all the way, less behind than beside, well you know what I mean, if it takes staying up making ham & cheese sandwichs again I'll do it, marshalling; yup. Cakes -can do, etc. . .
I know we cannot deny nature but I'm delighted to see moves underway to bypass the worst of the schlomp, I think last year was a lesson that no amount of work/digging/draining/armouring could prevent a mud fest on some sections. I look forward to seeing what is in the pipeline. I'll be 'racing' on the day but will be available for some hard labour beforehand.
