Al S gone !!

Well..there goes another one..I've no idea what the attraction of Limeyland is..but we've lost Al S to the Queen.
He headed off this morning to work as a Lawyer for a string of Pole dancing Clubs in Bristol.
I've know Alan since he was little..then again so does everybody else !!!
Anyway, I'm sad to see him go..he was a great addition to the Club and the Spins. He always turned up for spins and while he sometimes never shut up, he was like a monkey on Acid !! he was great craic all the time. He was a good lad and I'd say everybody liked him.Most people don't realise just how good a Rock Climber the little Sandknacker was..but he was a better Climber than anybody is at MTBing in the Country.
I think it would be safe to say that he ran out of stuff to challenge himself in Ireland, climbing wise. He was some biker though, I knew he would be ever since I swapped the bits off his bike with his mates in the Quarry about 15 years ago..
When he wasn't looking off course !
So we'll need a replacement..

I'll miss that crazy fecker, he was always as chirpy as a robin on a spring morning after a good ride and a feed of tasty worms
I used to love the perplexed look on his face when Byrner was coming out with his rantings, it was as if he was trying to make sense of it all, which is always a mistake, coz it never makes sense
He's a deadly biker and entertainer, I've seen him pull some stunts on the Djouce spins, and sometimes even pull them off - good luck over there Alice - don't forget to come back every now and again for the best trails, slagging and nonsense on the planet

Best of luck Al, you leave as abruptly as you arrived, you'll be missed on spins with your deadliness and good humour, every photo of you at the club races is like a shot from What Mountainbike, natural poise and spindly legs.

Be careful over there, any county that can turn the word "road" into "Frog and Toad" is obviously on the decline.

There's a fair amount of decent trails around Bristol - how about a weekend of biking and carousing for your old Epic buddies at some stage?!

I will be arranging a South Wales trip next year for him to come along to !!
