from 5.30ish..up on the big Durty Firebreak peoples..going to work my way up it from the exit of it..Fergal tells me hes going to knock his bustop in to shape..
For those of you who haven't seen it..Mother nature/an earthquake/a tsunami have completely destroyed it..!! I'm planning to bate some sense into the bottom half of it..after you come out from Skippys patio..
theres a heap of you unemployed bastichs..man up !! we need that firebreak all loved up and gnarly..no jumps till the week before though !!
alright guys..I won't be up on the durty firebreak ( the mattock expressway) I 'll be near the car park at the short steep bit Sorrento use in their races..
go through the gate and turn right at the junction..go along the fireroad above the car park and I'll be up where the track turns sharply leftwards up the steep bank..
If anybody has a petrol strimmer..bring it..I think it will be useful

Ehh, am I one of your "enginneers" Fergal?? If I get the use of my legs back I might make it.

indeed you are, but I won't be up there on Wed and to be honest we'd need a full-day session to make it worth the walk all the way up to the Expressway so we'd be better of digging on a Saturday where we can go at it for several hours/not be limited by the available daylight
I cant make tonite but dont worry about the stimmer..il sort that someday next week if needs be. On the subject of the patio are you useing it...I could make a straight line/drop off for the fire break rather that ride up the schloomp and the last leg of it.
Cool, it would have been a shame to loose the patio after all the work that went into it, straight out rather than run up right through the mud, I like it. More of this kind of thinking and this will be the best event in the history of best events!
oh yeah..we are running it as far from Mud as possible..
the Mattock expressway extension is brilliant even in its rough state..
Railblazer is up and running nicely
Bon and Roos Gulley is now out of it..so now fireroad to travel back up..you will be coming out of Rail Blazer and left down to the climb back up to Daffyds track ( below the house )
then in to Vinnies Zone..which will be an all new surprise track..
Then back out on to the fireroad and up towards Sorrentos short steep track..( I aim to avoid that and build something a bit less savage up)
then down Big OffCamber Track ..then through the gate and down the section to the field..which can only be described as the younger brother of the descent down the back of The Sugarloaf.
Watch out for the big jump !!

I'll be there till about 8.00 ( though knowing Sophie, she'll be getting bored about 7.00) so don't be shy about coming along, folks. theres some clearing to be done on the section..bushsaws and or loppers being the weapons of choice.
