Great racing out there on a lovely dry track with some nice repair work! Really enjoyed that one.
There are a couple of corrections to be made to the results - Dan and Maeves numbers were mixed up, so Dan didn't win and Maeve had a much better result than shown in the attached results. I think both were in about 10th - 12th place, but if anyone knows where each of these riders finished let me know and we will correct the results for the overall standings.

5 ladies racing in our club races too..fantastic stuff..I'm overwhelmed with the magnificence of it..especially the legendary RL hissy fit!!!

2nd last week, 27th today, what gives, I'll tell you what gives, some limp wristed blatherskite paid the robot to nobble me! It must have been that dastardly duo Lugash and Alfie after Scarr on Sunday. Still, unlike some people I took my medicine without winging and got to see some old faces go by, Alfie, Roo, Oisin, Luke, pretty much everyone as you can see. Roo must be in 3rd place now, swine with the skinny legs! The course is better than ever, well done the trial builders for clearing the swamp pit, I didn't think I'd ever see the day.
Richard L hillrunning for 2 laps, brilliantly insane, that's what we like to see. What's the rule about being able to finish just carrying your front wheel, or getting someone to carry it for you?
Thanks timekeepers Rory and Daragh, it looked like you were running a kids camp up there, Daragh had about 5 kids crawling all over him when I went past!
alright..you'll be back to normal next week. you semi savages have had a good league..give the super savages a chance..
think about what this league is all about. Its all about the craic and your lap times and getting better.
everybody has benefitted hugely from these races. you are all deadly now! you are all finishing within 5 minutes of each other..
Its fantastic to watch everybody giving it 100%. If you haven't been doing these races then you have missed out big time.
There hasn't been one single ****head in the whole league in my opinion. And thats saying something!
evil pace all night - keeping Roo off my tail was tough going, trying to catch Lugash was beyond my leg power, so I just about managed to keep the leggy lad at bay - nice touch up on the course alright - lots more speed along that section now - great stuff

I must say I had the best night ever, I had Andy W. on my back wheel all night, I was chasing Shona hard in parts (then she vanished ahead of me).
I was in bits by the end of it -as you should be - feeling it today! Off to the rebel county for a wedding, seems like damp squib after a great night of mashing pedals for all I was worth.
Thanks to Darragh and Rory for doing the timing and the encouragement it really helped. Thanks to Luke for helping me with the 'ghost-shifting' before the race. Magical 'ghost-shifting-be-gone' was applied and it worked. . . & This is where people advise which is the best gear cable to use!
Thanks to Coach Byrne for turning me into a faster man! (the lessons work folks!)
The skinny pins felt good last night. I too really enjoyed that race. I snuck up on Don and I'm sure I heard him snap, and for the fergule monster in green, well you get your comeupons. Well done to all of the fantastic support and racer, I have to laugh at Rory and his 'your not trying hard enough' with his relaxed attitude.... Nice one Daragh & Rory. Good to see Richard L smiling after his nice walk. Thanks Richie for boxing off the second section, Its so hot right now!!
Big thanks to Darragh and Rory for the timekeeping- thoroughly enjoyed the savage pace of the race... Apologies for the mix up with the numbers between Maeve and myself. An admission was made, and it turns out she was calling out my number (By mistake obviously- she swears she wasn't trying to ruin my chances!). Either way- she called out my number for the first few laps- the excellent timers sussed this + made me call out hers. I caught her on the 3rd lap if that is any use to clearing up the results. Thanks again for a great evening's racing and hope to be back next week...
Great Nights racing again last night as every week has been. The improvements to the course are savage no schlomp at all my bike is as clean as it was when I started the race deadly!! Don what happened ye, You only left 2 mins later than last week and as for shouting at fat fecker not to let me past tuttut! Luke I will try and do what you said next week and see how I get on but to be honest I am pushing as hard as I can on the fire road bits but I will try harder. Dave K had a savage crash in front of me and I thought of riding over him and his bike but thought better of it , oh the craic is deadly , I think we are all going to miss these races when they are over I know I will!!

the cheerleaders will be in detention if they don't behave themselves..!!!I'll be having a little chat with them next week before the race.Actually I will speak to their parents !!
