Sunday's challenge... who's going?

Weather is to be sh1te.... whats the plan?
are any EPICurians going? or is there a spin somewhere drier / more sheltered?

Some of the Epicurians are making it there Sunday spin instead of racing it!!!

Myself, Llandai, AndyW, Cathal and I think Shona are going to give it a go at "Spin" pace! Don't know whether we're doing short or long course. Forecast is shocking ..... bring the wellies!!

Long course RichardL, long course!! Seeing as we are only going for a spin we have to at least do the long course....

even if your not competitive its an oppertunity to ride waymarked trails that you've never ridden before i know i'm looking forward to seeing whats in carrick i think most of the regular epic heads will be there so we should have the craic too

Some very deep muddy puddles up their today so it's gonna be shocking tomorrow

Did it stop raining at all last night?
Finding it hard to get motivated.
might have to sort my sock drawer instead.

I will be marshalling, not racing yet, But will get to ride the whole loop, see yiz there !

Well that was deadly! Some great single track, super slippy but all rideable.

Brilliant event, even though conditions were basically poo. The mud and slidderiness and puddles actually made it more fun that it probably would have been in the dry! Lots of fire road but it's Carrick Mountain after all. Lots of swet singletrack in between, including a new scratched out section that was uber techincal but so much fun when you get it right.

Super results from Damo and Alfie. Elites next year??

Free food as usual, excellent.

Brilliant day out, what a venue, a great mixture of singletrack and fireroad, interesting all the way around. Thanks to Robin, Gordon and all involved in building and running things on the day.

109 entries, 67 were Masters - that has to say something about the age profile of the sport!

great day out, muddiest I've ever experienced, I even had to stop to scrape the mud off as the wheels wouldn't turn.

for 30km in those conditions it didn't seem too bad although I had 2 nasty spills, was glad to finish and not being last was a bonus in my first race on a proper bike.
