Rules for Sunday
No club gear please, it is frowned upun to be cycling in the national park
You absolutely 100% must be able to fix your bike on the trail.
It takes at the most 5 mins to change a tube
and the same for fixing a chain.
You will be abandoned if you are taking so long it becomes a joke.
There will be zero tolerance for this. End of story.
If you have a mechanical, let me or Alfie or Sean know immediately, we will either help you or tell you your spins over.
Anybody attempting to fix a puncture with a patch will be abandoned and refused from further spins.
2 Tubes
a Pump..Not a gas canister device
a multi tool.
a powerlink ( optional)
If you don't have these in your pocket or camelback
go to ballinastoe and stay there.

some craic in the puddles today.
It was raining on us when we arrived..but i did a quick Anti-rain dance and the clouds parted and the sunshine arrived.
Up the road we went to Scarr lower ..up and around the furious descent and over to the right hand of death and across to Brockagh lower.
You should see the rivers up there..anyway we got to the Ewoks without incident..
Jack though tried some sort of braking manoever on the bridge and came close to snotting himself..
meanwhile I was entertainied lower down with BON, Killian, Luke and nearly everybody having a go and nearly dying..
I have Video..when I figure out how to post it, you'll get to see Beavis (Conor Clinch) and Butthead ( Eamo) battling it out on their xc bikes..
then it was across and down the new st kevins way..thats a deadly track..
Eoin keith is slowly recovering his yang..but rider of the week goes to Bruce for whammying every body and accepting a double whammy from Eamo and Sean..
Great spin, great craic..back to what the club is founded on and Burgers and Carvery and laughs in Palmers afterwards.
If you are going to be a mountainbiker in Ireland. You are going to have to deal with the weather.
Once you are in it and having the craic, it doesn't really matter..and Girls..Sean showed us a new seduction technique, he also will be announcing his "coming out " at the DH nationals..

That was a great spin and that route always is, and the Eworks was just deadly. I was riding to the edge of my limits on the bridge, thats why I didn't fall!!

The new St Kevin's way is great now that is finished at the top. only one or two spots which are really tricky.

Indeed to have to just get out and ride and forget about the weather it adds to the experience.
