I was on the phone to a friend of mine from the north and he told me about this. He was riding there with a mate of his and bumped into other riders who say this race was happening on the 17th and its open to all?
Can any one shed some light on this for me please?
Good news got some info on the race basically every one is allowed to race all you need is a cycling Ireland licence should be a good laugh ill be heading up. How about you folks?
Cuchulainn CC are starting their 6 race MTB Club League on Sat 26th Sept. With a race every Saturday morning
Anyone with a Cycling Ireland Liscence is invited to come along and is very welcome to do so.
The races will be of different formats such as group races Time Trials and a blast type race. There are 6 different courses with everything from forest single track to open mountain.
There is no additional charge to race for CI members but please pre register by sending your Name and CI number to tonyk@jadeindustrial.ie

Calm down Ricer, thats a Cuculainn CC Club race, its not an open event, you need to let them know you are going and you need a Cycling ireland licence.

Im in no rush to race just wanted to do it for the laugh they say any one with a C.I. licence is welcome. I was just reading up on the forum about the membership and licences i would like to get it sooner rather than later if i want to dip in and out of events. But mainly i just want to meet up with the lads and ride somewhere new.
Licences are Jan to Jan, and start at €85, plus you need to be a club member to get one (another €20). Considering there are almost no more races, this is a slight waste of money.
There are multiple spins every week, and plenty more places & faces you aint met yet, plus Mad I'm sure would welcome you on their spins too.
