It's 60 km for S3, Juniors, Vets and Ladies
100km for S2 and S1

Well the three of us headed to Enniscorthy today......... good race with decent turn out. Very speedy pace in the A/B group. Gotta say well done to Earl on his first road race. It's a big difference between training on the road and going at race pace in a bunch of 50-60 other riders.

was good fun, only one climb and you'd hardly call it a climb
went off with cat B and got dropped within 2-3km so then did the cat C race...lesson learned for future races..

Well done mate i heard from the in crowd you rode strong in sen3 race its all about learning keep it up

So what's the story earl with you first road race encounter? did you manage to stay upright? and finish with the bunch?

not quite sure finished towards the front of the bunch i was in but that wasn't the cat c main bunch i dont think..was all fairly confusing, good fun though and wasn't near as tired as after an xc race

..... that'd be me! To be honest though that was because he's flying on the training spins, although it's a different story when your in a race situation. With a few more races under the belt, he'll be a B cat in no time.

Well done lads, Good to see people trying another form of cycling which can be fun, But obviously not as much fun as MTBing, Now if I could get some of yiz to try cyclocross this winter, Im sure you would be hooked.
