Well done everybody..i won't list as i will leave some out by accident..
but the track is looking deadly..still not sexy enough on the upper Firebreak, I had a walk up there with Sean and theres a couple of missed opportunities. So we're going to fix that.
The jumps are all deadly, the sky track ( ROO and BON inc) will be finished next Sunday..
But we are far from done. the place is soaking, more hardcore will have to be moved.
So , its looking deadly !!
great work done by everybody..its going to be a scream, some of the sections are savage..but theres some for XC and Some for DH..and everything for the savage on a freeride machine..or a CX bike..
I'm bunched, I didn't expect to have to head back down the mountain to be part of the photoshoot, needn't have bothered as the photographer only had eyes for Sean with his clean outfit and his sleekness, me and Killian by comparison made him look great. Still, I hope the four takes to get a shot of us going through a puddle were worth it. Then back up to pull more feckin branches from under layers of mud, only to reveal more branches, hard going and no sexyness to look at after the hard work, but at least the firebreak is mostly cleared, Clive and Cathal having done some serious raking. Vincent and little Sean helped out with some serious cutting tools.
Great to see so many at work and the parts of the track I've seen look great, can't wait for a full preview.
well my golden friend..the sexiness was only revealed from the top looking down..the branch pulling and the raking unearthed the true potential of the firebreak..that firebreak was only always going to be a heartbreaker..

Do you mean the patio they built? That was something alright, I was up there just after 9am and Skippy already had a load done. I'm going to bring up a few pot plants and a recliner for that yoke.
The Blast is the EPIC main event, its the only one of its kind anywhere, its difficult to build a track for it, everybody thinks there way is the best, but so far I'm very impressed with the efforts and the attitude put in by members and even some Non members, although Fergal is an EPIC member in drag !!

Yes well done everyone who helped yesterday its starting to come together nicely.
I think we should just clone Mark T 10/15 times he revels in trail building...actually I think we will rename him Komatsu after the bull dosser... If we had more fellas as keen to work as him the mtb world would never be the same again.
