All set, 40 psi back, 30 psi front, bike cleaned and lubed to Lynchy standards, socks ironed, power drink made up, QR facing backwards. Oh baby...

Everytime I stop to daydream all I see is the club course & me planning to get 'round it quickly. . . anyone else seeing that in their mind. . . I see the first hard climb most of all, the one after the switchbacks. . . (Do I need a doctor?)

I've got it even worse, I have club races visions intermingled with how to build this wendy house, I found myself cutting timber with a circular saw last night in the dark, is is a bizarre mix that had me up most of last night, don't be surprised if you see me on the side of the trail staring at some roof joist diagram with a blank look on my face.

I woke up screaming

even saying it in the fecking car now.

I can HEAR rider up.... Don't think I've ever got to shout it....
