Great race, found it tough going with lead legs, thanks to Daragh and Dave for the timing. Not that many racing tonight, only the true savages. Had a good dice with Brendan, have to say i've been passed by most people over the years, but Bren was picking out the sweetest lines, a masterclass in line choice, watch him next time he passes you. Sorry to Lynchy for a rather ugly overtaking move, but if I didn't pass you there I knew you would kill me on the climb, so I had to pull out a gap on the last piece of singletrack!
Well I didnt feel any energy or power in the body tonight.But my lap times are'nt too bad,weird!!!Thanks to Jack for his usual starting of us,and to Dave and Daragh for the timing and encouragement. Micky

Well all i can say is, Byrner goes away for a week and the turn out for the club league was very small, I think it's a fear thing when he's around "wtf were you not at the club race you looser etc etc"
Anyways Micky went past me like a scaulded rat last night up the 1st climb, So i set off in depression only to find him on the switch backs "go on go on my heart's not in it" see if Byrner had have been there I doubt he would have givin up so easly.

Good racing last night and the course is in great condition - a little wetness to keep the dust down but still grippy as ever. I was on the heavier bike last night with big tires which was great on the techy bits but lacked that zip on the climbs. Carbon XC bike is your only man for that. That loop is still as fun on any kind of bike though. Savage times out of Adamski as usual.
Cheers to Jack and the timers again,definitely a different dynamic without the encouragement/abuse,but Luke had a stab in fairness to him!Best if luck to everyone on Sunday

Well done to all that raced last night ! It was a smaller crowd than usual, but everybody was trying 100 % out there !! The robot tried to scare the cr*p outta Daragh and me at the start but we asked it nicely , thankfully it woke up in time for the first rider to come past !
