August open events

Hello racers or even those of you who want a good spin somewhere other than Wicklow

Donncha from West Cork is running the Sheeps head marathon on the 21st August in West Cork
its a Saturday, i'm heading down on the Friday with the girls and camping

Johnny McCabe is running the Cooley Thriller on the 28th August in Carlingford, always an adventure, i'm heading up to this as well but just for the day.

You don't have to be savage fit to take part in these, just competent, they are a single long loop and in spectacular surroundings.

Can't afford going to West Cork but will definitely be doing the Cooley Thriller, it should be good test before the Marathon Champs.

When and where are the marathin champs on. Can't find anything on the web?
