More great racing tonight. 34 riders going a mighty speed on a nice dusty course - poor el presidente was going like a man possessed but had to cylocross it to the end!
Thanks to Shona and Carol for their expert timing. The results would have been up sooner but someone let the battery die.....you know who you are.
Feckin eejits hoggin the laptop, Had a great race tonight. Have not felt that strong in a while. HAd to do a last lap, last tech section, red mist move. Morty was in front and Hugemember was catching fast, so I went for it. Morty was not happy anyway he started his engine and on the lasat climb and took 11 sec outa me the fecker, Hugemember got me too.

well..i was gunning for the win..i knew something was up as I headed towards the lovely ladies at the end of lap 2..but as I'm not used to the squidge of a full suss xcer i thought it was some sort of rear shock mischief..but by the time I got to the rocklog I realised I was in trouble..so I just rode it..cursing my sponsor for not giving me tubeless !!
At the switchbacks I started jogging/dragging and that was it...off I went ..battling with Don on the Climb but the descents just put paid to me...

and to everybody who passed me on my last lap..just as well we are not doing the rider up points, i'd have owed the robot !!

6gb? that's bigger than what it took to shoot Apocalypse Now, I guess they don't call you Max for nothing, though you'll likely now be called "UltraHighDefinition1920x1080pixels", not quite as catchy as Max, though still impressive...

Arghghghg! Very frustrating tonight, I tried to knock yet another tree down on lap 1, I'm amazed any of those trees are still standing in section 2, lap to was OK, lap 3 I blew up and my chain fell off. Can't seem to get any flow going on that fecking HT, I know there is at least a 13.15 there, got to get it before the season ends. Thanks to the timers, none of whom fell for my calling the number early trick! And Jack for getting us going as always putting up with the nonsense. But as I said, arraagagaragara!!!!
Thanks to Jack for the starting,and to Carol and Shona for the timing/shouting of encouragement.Actually,despite Carol's recent injury her shouting is top notch and certainly helps to inject a little more speed into tired legs.Course was riding well and I'm happy enough with my lap time's.Grand old chat/laugh in Palmers afterwards.
Thanks Carol, Shona & Jack especially for all the encouragement! Another great nights riding. . . I look forward to this all week, it really is something else! Out of this world. . . Had great criac in the pub, despite a near death experience on the road home! Nearly hit a car . . . scary!
Yeah nearly hit a car myself, it was lot darker on the road I usually take home, thanks to the usual heads for a great nights racing and timing, that Lidl jersey helped me set my fastest times so far...those pockets aren't deep enough to carry everything though.
