Well there you go. Another brilliant season finished off with a last night of racing and drinking! The track was nice and greasy for a change and the rain held off perfectly for the 37 riders who closed out this years racing. Thanks to everyone who came along all through the year, obviously to all our club riders but equally to all the boys and girls who come along every week from the other clubs to make the racing what it is. I'm getting all misty eyed now so I'll just leave you with the results, but a final thanks to our timers tonight Carol and the lovely Damo, and to their helpers. Cheers.

Deadly stuff, the course was throwing a few slippy roots into the mix this evening. It was getting fairly dark by the third lap, could see feck all in the last forest section. Thanks again to the timers. Think I must be in there somewhere, number 156.
Kind of devastated this is over, for those of us fighting to fend of the slide into middle age Thursday nights are a vital part in feeling young again, getting the blood pumping, sweating buckets and getting the crap kicked out of us. The post race high keeps me up all night sometimes.
Don't think I once bothered where I finished, just was battling my lap times all year, so thanks to all the timers, especially those that did it more than once, Carol, Shona and others. Cheers as well to Bon who got the lap times up so quickly after each race.
Thanks also to Richie and his trail builders who have created the finest little track in the universe, it's getting more savage each year, yet the times keep tumbling. It's helping to turning some good riders into exceptional riders.
Riders that really impressed this year include Micky, Andy and Harri, all so much stronger this year. And of course Lynchy for fighting to hold onto his crown so well, I can't believe he has done 40 races on the trot.
So thanks to everyone who turned up each week and helped make it such a great night out. I'm already thinking about my goals for next year.

Really enjoyed the club race's this year,can't believe its over!!Thanks to those who did more starting and timing than most,Jack,Carol and Shona.But for me the biggest thanks has to go to Richie,for his drive,passion and overall enthusiasm for the club league,followed by a close 2nd to every rider who went into Palmers after each race and helped make the craic.For its the craic that I liked the most about the league. Oh yes, and lets not forget the legend that is Fergal for all the stats, league updates and fascinating data. Anyone who can make numbers look sexy is a hero in my book.
