The good news is, well done to everybody who raced and attended today. We did a fantastic job of dominating the event.
Everybody was brilliant and from my perspective as Founder, President and Head Coach I couldn't be prouder.
The Course was great, as was the organisation, Pity more people didn't enter especialy from the North and the far south,its not that far and the 795 people put there heart and soul in to the event.
Its not perfect, the start is too far from the car park in fact but its not a deal breaker.
A lot of people in this club have gotten a new lease of life from joining us and taking up MTB.
The same could be said for other clubs too.
Do you ever wonder what you would be doing if i didn't put so much effort in and kick you up the hole. I doubt it.
And theres the thing.
Whats wrong with coming along and supporting the brave men and women of EPICmtb, your club mates when they are giving it 100% .
The amount of people I have given up my spins to mind and encourage is beyond measure.
The least some of you could do is make the fookin effort to travel and support your CLub members.
I was on lap 2 today when I realised Caroline was doing our bottles.
I didn;t ask her.
Why would I, shes never seen a race ! she must know about 4 people in the CLub and she gets stuck with the ****test job !!!!
That really , really pisses me off !!
Some of you are about to get the biggest wake up call in the world !!

Sorry for not hanging around for the whole race but still had to pop down and say hello to people. but fair play to Caroline for doing the bottles never a fun job.
Don't know why you're saying it's not a fun job, I did it last year in Belfast when my knee was out of action and I had a great time. It's being part of the team/club what makes it good and it's a vital part of the race, imagine the time we would be loosing if we were to stop and change the bottles ourselves.
Fair play to Caroline, I'm sure she had a great time watching us struggling to get up that fireroad!
Very good point,well made Max.If Caroline had'nt stepped in today to do bottle's for us Epic racers,we would have been in the ****!!Actually,we would'nt have been,Im 90% sure Aine from MAD would have helped us out.BUT thats not the point,Epic is a big club,and its a shame we didnt have a bottle person in line by last Thursday,having to rely on a last min stand-by by Caroline or even a non club person like Aine is'nt good enough.Im not long enough in Epic to get upset at people,but I do see Richie's point 110%.And just to repeat myself,thanks again Caroline,job very well done.
Max, you dope , its not much fun if you've never done it before, don't know anybody and you're on your own !Its a complete and total load of me bollocks that in a club the size of EPIC, full of people who get a huge amount from the club, theres nobody to do the job. Not everybody in EPIC is tied to family stuff on a Sunday.

I honestly didnt mind doing it all. It was actually a bit of craic.........and it saved me getting anymore muck on my uggs...RAGE! Well done to everyone. You all did deadly.
Well Graham Hand has volunteered to do the bottles for rnd 1 of The NPS. Hes GH80'sbiker on the Forum.
Anybody else that races s4 can help him.
Carol and Sophie used to do it with Harri and Co but Sophie plays hockey on Sundays now so the Byrne Family are not available.
The Culchie is also out of action because of parenthood.
We really need a boisterous team for the pits.
