I just want to say thanks to those behind the gift from Mickkkkkkey Dardis.
It wasn't necessary, but will be enjoyed by Ness & I.
I helped out because I am still EPIC at heart. Back in the early days there was only a few, but now there seems to be a steady stream of new blood flowing in and taking the reigns. The likes of John H, Mickey , Luke, C3PO, Smithers, Skippy, etc.... long may it last. It's a great club, and that's why I am willing to help where I can.
Epic road started like the Jamacain bobsleigh team. But now they are seen as equals. It was great to see them in the Gorey, looking as good as the top end teams. I think a lot is owed to Skip & Mickey there. The time commitment given by Mickey was huge. Collecting the car, bringing it to me, following the guys.... then the unseen.. hours spent picking stickers off, polishing & cleaning the car, etc, etc. He deserves the credit. the lads just rode the bikes. they had the fun bit.... I hope they appreciate it (I'm sure they do.)
