Felt pretty ****e on the first lap, but Dave dragged me around and we had a bit of crack. Then smithers came smashing through on the last lap like an man possessed, only to die at the end! Great laugh as usual.

Bon is doing this on purpose, last week he had a tea break and then saw me and jumped in front of me, I passed him and he passed me goin up the last climb, I'm sure he did the same this week, he waited and waited and then he went like the clappers blew up and then let me past only to do the exact same thing on the last climb. I wont be passing you next week unless i catch you earlier and break you, ohhh yes break you I will ahahahahaha!!!!! Thanks to timers and shouters as always!!
Really enjoyed that, had a great dice with Brendan from beginning to end, course riding really well despite the rain, but get complacent at your peril, lots of surprises to keep you on your toes. Think I'll bring the FS next week and have the craic.

jeesus fookin christ...i had a deadly 3 laps..i think I got round by sheer will power...thanks to oz for starting,,but by jeesus the dullest lap recording bunch ever, probably accounts for the 100% perfect results !!

going downhill was horrendous..the sight of Micky behind me in the flappy Jersey and the Blades of doom couldn't even get me going !! My last lap was a turgid nightmare of sweat and coughs, interspersed with ridiculous crashes wild dabbs..
the only riders I caught were Erica and Carol ..go me !!

Big thanks to Shona, Wendy, Oz and Daragh - an error free week! Which is more than I can say for my race - I'm officially getting worse! Well done to Graham with 2 sub 14 minute laps - fantastic considering the conditions - obviously all the sneaky training up around Howth Head is paying off!

I had an awful race, nothing would stick for me tonight, legs felt bad from the start stiff and sore, I dont really know why?! course really does chew you up and spit you out if you make a mistake!!
At least there is always next week.
That's the slowest I've ever gone around the club course tonight (including spins!), just didn't have the yang today at all, and no motivation to race whatsoever. So I just had a nice spin and a great craic shouting at whoever I could (OZ got most of the abuse!).
1st I want to thank Oscar for starting, and Shona , Wendy and Daragh for timing,plus the shouts of encouragement every time I crossed the finish line,means a lot.The course was riding really well,just the odd muddy bit.I actually enjoyed my race,because for the 1st time in 4 weeks I actually felt good.Think,or hope,my form is starting to get better after a months slump!
Could'nt believe the amount of people who didnt turn up to race tonight,it was a warm,dry,sunny evening,where the hell were you??You cant all be away on holiday's???Craic in the pub was the best bit,as always!!But I'd say only half of those who raced tonight came in for a chat,you're loss folks!!
