bloody timers are putting my number in after I've gone around the corner !!!! How can Smithers have a faster lap time than me ? Feckin bunch of wasters !! You'll get no thanks from me, the two playboys were obviously discussing their yacht sizes with Shona !!
I'm very disappointed !!
Well they did a great job on recording my times! PB for me last night (excluding the week on the superfast specialized) After almost 2 weeks off the bike I was afraid Id be dog slow, but I felt strong. I had JoeMcCaul on my tail for the first section on my second lap, and that definitely pushed me on. Still feel painfully slow on the climbs, but think I'm getting faster through the singletrack. Still cannot properly get over that root of death in the 3rd section. If it doesnt knock me off, it brings me to an almost stop.
Thanks to all the timers, shouters and starters. Who owns them dogs? I thought I was seeing a lion when I was coming up the hill to the start finish!
Enjoyed the banter in the pub after. Good laugh!
I towed you around like a squealing little piggie !! how dare you call me a loser !!! I would have gotten two sub 12 minute laps if I wasn't pretending to be feckin Ghandi or some other nice guy !!
you had better win next Sunday or I'll be turning my highly developed coaching techniques to some other person more respectful!!
Big thanks to Shona, Adrian, Brian and Andy ...... another glitch free week!!! (Apart from the inaccurate recording of Richie's lap times of course!!!)
I'm ****ing useless ...... I killed myself last night and my lap times are about 15 seconds a lap quicker than when I saunter around! Maybe myself and Richie's lap times are getting mixed up?
Great laugh in the pub afterwards ..... frankly I don't see much point in doing the Club League if you don't come in and have a pint and the Craic with your club mates!

you people need some coaching..next week I'll show all of you how to master it every lap without falling on it.
Once upon a time some c*nt had the nerve to make a rideable mound over it..
I spit nails when I found it !!
its there for a reason..
when you are coming at it, don't fear it..
pedal calmly and steadily and as you reach ground zero on it , attack it by lifting the front wheel over it and pedal..
Don't give in to it !!
it can smell your loserocity !!
ha! The root is a good feature...as Byrner says, pull up the front wheel and attack it like crazy! :)
Nowt worse than someone in front of ya falling off at the root cos then ya can't get back on till your past it....

We had a really good session with Richie one night focusing on that yoke! The secret is to go at the high part rather than your natural inclination to go for what looks like the easier low part! It's a much more direct line and you can drive straight at it .... even works for me!!
