Another quality tues night spin. We had a bit of a shake up with our usual tues night spin people with some substitutions and a guest appearance/ exchange student from MAD. With Mark, Cathal and Gav missing in action with lame excuses except maybe Gav (hes now moved into masters). We had Skippy, Vinnie and Oisin to take there place to join Adam, Karlos, Shane and myself for what started as a slogg round djouce.
Up from the carpark to xtc is hell. I didn't think it had been that wet recently but its schlomp tastic and completely covered in wheel sucking goo. On to xtc and things didn't get much better. I did a poor job of recreating my crash on the bone shaker from a few weeks ago after my front wheel was eaten by the goo. Onwards and there was super drifty two wheeled action all the way to the end. On to the steep descent beside benchcut which caught most of us out if only just a little. It was enough to get us in the mood for more mayhem. Down the second part of benchcut and towards the river. Up the earls drive and red road to have a go at Alans trail. Dons new fav tires or any other tires where of absoultely no use what so ever as we all slid crashed and laughed our asses off the whole way down. Back up the earls drive as it wasn't enough the first time. Down Gran Canaria a back to the cars. Good spin nice pace just fast enough and not too much stopping and plenty of mayhem and sideways action.

Alans trail last night was flipping hilarious, The last time i was going that much sideways was on snow. You just kept going till the next tree tried to stop you / harpoon you.
Once again some buzz for a Tuesday night, what else would you be doing? Skippy and Oisin set a fair pace off the front on those climbs, fit feckers.

Yeah although I had left my mojo somewhere else last night is was great craic. But I've never seen the place so schlompy the easy bits were tuff going last night. And as for Alans trail well need I say more it was just madness. It was a good old night cheers Al.

I have not been scared on my bike for quite a while... but lastnite was just crazy...
Alan trail in the day is madness! at night in the schloop is insane! There was not a dull moment all evening...we checked the time thinking maybe it was 8.15ish...it was 9.10..deadly spin Al.
I was grinning all night and could not get to sleep... buzzin i was..the missis thinks iv cracked.

Yeah thanks for a great spin. Alans trail in the dark when its wet and slippy is insane... trees looming up ahead and nothing you can do about it with both wheels skidding. Just hope you manage to steer the bike around them somehow and then when you think its all over the next corner is even steeper!
