now..considering I was riding for 3 hours today, grabbed a ham sandwich, wielded a strimmer for 2 hours, had Pizza with the girls, worked out some trophies with our friend SeanieBoy , I still put together an animal singletrack spin for tomorrow..

That was disappointing. I was looking forward to that all week. About 20 minutes in I snapped the chain on TWO places. I didn’t think that was possible.
I normally carry two power links so I thought I’d have no problem fixing it. By the time I had the pins out and discovered I only had 1 and a half power links youse were well out of earshot.
So, a short spin for me but on the plus side I got home early with an excess of energy and built up a few brownie points.
I'm fooked after that, my god i suffered from start to Finish, Pity Colm, you didnt go down to the double track as we came back that way for yah. Handjob flying and baldy git goin well too. I think the 9.30 start for Richie and Alfie messes with their Chee as they were on the deck fairly early into the spin, Damo save of the day. Funny stuff, great craic as always. Thanks for waiting again lads.
Whatever about trying to keep up with Alfie Expert and Damo, Smithers was an inspiration suffering through an awful hangover! :)
Was I fookin invisble then ? I've no sympathy for Smithers with a hangover..
The first hour was brisk, I toned it down afterwards..
But I think the thoughts of going up Benchcut broke Smithers.

After galloping around Djouce I eventualy took the boys..
Damo, Alfie, Smithers, Handjob and Mick ( sorry Clom ) up Bulldog, Up XTC and up past the Blue Bin..
oh yeah..theres a climb now..
I'm very disgusted with the low turnout..By the time I got to the Middle Car park it was just me and my boys, all through the years , it always ends up just us 3.

People are missing out on spins like this, after all that Byrner still flying! No excuses really when you consider the above...
yeah great spin, slippy and slidey, a lot of single track covered with a nice bit of variety thrown in with a few uppy bits that are usually downy bits, bad luck colm on the double break. Great couple of hours on the bike. thanks lads.
i still cant believe there was only 7 of us plus we picked up Redser on the way..whats going on ? have you all turned into slackers, have those bossy women of yours got you all by the nuts ?
What will happen , which always happens, you keep missing the spins and we just get faster, you turn up and start whinging behind my back that the spins are too hard.
We aren't even training, we just like to ride hard. If you don;t like to ride your bike hard, organise spins with others in the club that want a handy spin.
Eventually it will be back to me, Alfie, Damo, Max and Oscar as the hardest and fastest with Smithers doing his best to balance cycling and debauchery.
Am I wasting my time here ?
