Spins from Next week please read

From next week spins are going to change..
they wont be training spins and they wont be harsh but due to the weather and darkness they will be for people of similiar ability.
So Tuesdays, Smithers will be running spins from Lambes at 6.30 , they wont be handy but they wont be anything like mine.
I'll be running my own spins for the really hardcore, they'll be nonstop and as fast as we normally go..
Thursdays from next week I will be doing the old Road Spins ...leaving Foxrock Church at 6.00 for 2 hours - the object is to keep the bodies ticking over and they are more social than anything relaxed pace and help get people fitter for the Sunday spins.
Fast boys will leave later.

any questions post them here and I will answer them for you.

cheeky, ahh jazaz im not that bad...im into leaving at usual 18:45 if anyone is up for it...same route as last year...if you are considering it dont leave it for a few weeks do it now and you will grand..leave it to late and you be left behind...

I will be leaving my house at 6 I hope to catch you by Bray. Leaving foxrock at 6.45 is to late for me, getting home at 9.15 is no fun!!!

well why dont you aim to pick people up at foxrock by about 6.15 then..that might suit people.

6:15 is a bit early for me for a couple of weeks anyway but I might try and pick you up on your way back towards Bray from Delgany somewhere!!

heres the route so everybody knows ..
Out along the N11 to Kilmacanogue
left up the hill to Kindlestown at the Garden Center
Delgany
Greystones
Winegates
Southern Cross road
Bray
Foxrock or do a lap of killiney.

It usually takes about 90mins, its the safest route..we all know it..
take it easy till Xmas, no out of the saddle, no up and overs !!
Building base fitness for spins and for keeping the club together.

I would highly recommend mudguards like raceblades,overshoes, Yellow lens glasses, Winter tyres, Co2 Canisters.
We ride in 2s abreast no more, it is not a racing session !! some people cant help themselves but its stupidly unsafe to do anything else.
and by the way..buy your stuff from Eurocycles or Expert Cycles. Stop wasting your money in OC tuning or elsewhere.
Alfie can build wheels as good as anybody and he has Robin with him once a week.
Hes a way better mechanic than anybody i've ever dealt with, except Cliff in South William Street.
Both of us can set up your bikes for the Winter and we can get any of the parts you want within a couple of Days..
