Tuesday Brutality 7.00 15/11/11 Palmers for the Leadmines
Well that was the business, savage fast and fun spin. The best of the leadmines, master guide was some lad called Byrner, but he seemed to know his way around. The race down the quarry was some craic. Jack has come on so much as a rider, one to watch next year.
yep..my noisy new bike was wrecking my head but we kept her lit as fast as we could go..hats off to Jacksy for hanging in, I'd say he was having some craic !!
Man I was way outside my limits chasing Alfie down Katygollagher ! then shredded my tyre on a lichen !! Only me, Alfie , Damo and Jack out, Max went to Cyclocross training !! I don't know where Oscar is, McNipples is a wuss , Fergal is sneaky training on his own somewhere , BON has relegated himself to Smithers spins and Doris is enslaved by the Japanese..
But it doesnt matter, if these are my 3 trusty sidekicks then so be it !

Cheers Damo.. with just Damo, Alfie and a lad called Byrner there was no hiding in the back on this one. fecking love the leadmines on the savage spin like this, just flowing around the place, keeping it lite all the way.
The laughs of you when I fell over a twig !!
Savage loop though..you can only do that ******* of a loop with a select few, it would break many..I can't wait till Sunday and I throw in the bits we missed !! oh yeah..by Christmas there will be no catching us !!

you just fell over with out moving on the bike into the biggest bush on the trail
I put my foot down and it disappeared into a hole and I went with it !! the worst part was when I got home my phone was not in my jersey pocket like I thought it was and I thought I'd lost the damn thing in that bush..
Luckily I had actually left it at home !! phew !! The near carnage on the Scalp was precious..Alfie was heading to 3 Rock at one stage and jack caught his skirt in a branch..I nearly died laughing and Damo, almost and I mean almost, almost smiled !
Ah you cannot beat a mind expanding anaerobic aerobic roller coaster of a jaunt around the Leadmines !! No felling, no dumbarse Coillte trails..just goobers on DH bikes and fullface helmets struggling through the club course ! Mad Ted !

you are daft..its Nearly a week since the AGM..I've been on 3 spins since then..jeeeeesus..you dont want to make the same mistake other people are and fall off these spins..
Man I was completely out of place at the CX training, they're all so serious!!!
Got some pointers for the Saturday though so it was worth it

one session is not going to help you !! you wont enjoy the race armed with any knowledge of Cyclocross..jesus everytime I get on my CX bike I forget how to ride a bike for an hour !! more fun that way !!
Yeah, I had a 13 hour day in work, enslaved all right!
