now folks, there appears to be some confusion about who is able for the savage spins.
Heres the way I work it out.
If you do my Tuesday savage spins in the Winter..you qualify.
That would be Damo, Alfie, Jack, Terry McD, CMG , John Doris, Niall Q, Max its fairly obvious
Obviously anybody who has raced senior 1 or senior 2 is able Micky, Oz, Jackson, Rob Whelan, Andrew etc
The top end of senior 3 John Richardson, Smithers, Luke
, Donough, Graham Hand
Eoin Keith also obviously
obviously theres also guests from other clubs who are always welcome, Oisin, Fergal, Steve Pollock, Ray Doyle and the other Focus MTBers, all the Worcies, Kev Stanley, James McCluskey, Cait, Ryan, Mel, Peter O farrell,The Greg, The Wolfes . Rudolf,
Its nothing personal folks but we want to get the most out of our spins.
You cannot think that riding Smithers spins up till now is training for my spins.
Every year we give people the option of riding with us till Christmas on your hardtails while we ride our 6" bikes for fun.
I don't think anybody took that option, manly because Smithers ran his spins and given the choice , I wouldn't blame them.
Normally we would allow people to just turn up and see if they can keep up.
Not this year.
It doesnt work and we always end up waiting for them.
So its nothing personal and I hope somebody keeps Smithers spins going when he moves up to mine next week.
However, I will be still running my Ladies training spins on Thursdays after this week, however, they will be on the road every Thursday till March. Anybodys welcome on them.
But Tuesdays and Sundays will be serious XC training spins.
