Sounds like Maulin is on the cards!?
Carbon Hardtail is off the cards due to a mechanical..but I will be there in the morning on El Felt grande !
great spin around Djouce today with Alfie, John Doris, Oisin,Niall Q and Graham. Savage loop , handy pace. Its a shame none of the Superheroes from yesterday were out today to show me how savage they really are.
anyway..
By the time me, Alfie,JD and Oisin got to the bottom of Son Of BC, I realised we'd lost NiallQ and Graham. So we continued on, until they spotted us on sliddery. So off we went to ride rock and up ride rock. at this stage Wallace and Boydell were chomping at the bit to get to the top first and Graham was in the bin.
So once I reached the top , I said my usual "fcuk him !" and off we went.
Alfie murdered me and Oisin going up the other side of the valley and I took a sneaky rest waiting for D and Niall to catch up by holding the gate open.
On the way down Desperation, Niall and Alfie punctured badly and after ages of faffing about trying to get them to seal and freezing our nuts off , we got underway again, however this allowed Graham to catch back up .
Mother of God, because the Red road is no longer attractive to walkers, Desperation is in a seriously bad way. It looks like its been trampled by elephants !
So off we went across the secret trail, down Toro, along Gwangi up to the middle car park, down XTC, we met Richard and off we went down Bulldog, lost Niall and Graham and we went up toro and down GC and rode back tothe car park..
I'm knackered now, thanks lads great spin. Before we got the punctures it was like a bleeding race. Non stop and relentless.
Caroline, Shona and myself had a great non-stop spin around Djoice as well! A small group of similar abilities is definately the way to improve fitness - no waiting at all! Thank you ladies - really enjoyed that!

you are dead right there Richard. 5 days of solid riding with me took its toll on Graham though, he really suffered today but I think the first ever Richie Byrne training camp worked very well for him, at least he knows what hardship is now!
By Jeebus that was the toughest of the last week of savage spins!

Anyone who has missed these spin's have a lot of work to do in catching up!

Cheers again for the last week of spins Richie, legend! I hear S2 calling you this year! :)

If I had known you were going to Djouce I wouldn't have spent the morning up 3rock in the mud like billy no mates on my own.
I really mean on my own, I only saw one other person up there in two hours. Mind you it's very rare you get the place to yourself so it's not all bad.

Sorry Gareth -I thought by your post last night that you were under time pressure and needed to get out at 9am and somewhere local!
