Saturday 7 Jan Beast Spin

For anyone that’s not going to the CX Champs; a special Beastly Saturday Spin.

Leaving Lamb Doyle’s at ten.

This isn’t a craic spin so the pace will be steady but non-stop. I’ll be using a route similar to Richie’s spin last week;

Up by the Blue Light and up to the masts by the fire road
Down Lower Metro
Over to Toms
Up the killer Climb
Up to Upper Metro
Back up to T-Connector and down RocknRolla and Ewoks
Up and across to aggro and back over to Toms
Up the killer Climb
Down Lower Metro, Boneshaker and finish with Dream Track.

(Yes, there are more ups than downs!)

Surely one of the great mysteries of mountain-biking - "how the **** can you start and finish in the same place and still do twice as much climbing as descending?" Seems to happen in 3-Rock all the time!!!
Every feckin cycle feels like that to me, the ups are far to long and the downs are not long enough, Maybe we should all move to Australia where everthing is upside down so by logic it should be reversed...... WHAT!!!!

Anyone not racing should be cheering on your fellow Epic'ers!
Talking too much again, why should he go and look at you lot riding your bikes when he could be out riding his own and has offered to take other people out yeh plonker........thats it you are in for a whammy of death.....ohhh I can feel your pain now.

Or I might just go and throw sticks and rocks at you during your race from a behind a bush hahahahaha.

PS no whammying back the elders of the club, ie me hahahaha :)
Ha ha! Ya tried twice to whammy me off the bike last Saturday, your only an amateur! :)

Much more fun to watch me being whammy'd off the bike by 60 other riders in the race anyways!
