ok folks another EPIC spin 10.00am at Palmers road to Djouce and back off road.
Now its actually much harder from this way.
So we are starting from Palmers .
Depending on the weather.

Now this is my route , theres a lot of road on it. Thats to avoid some steep walking climbs.
And we need the miles.
now..I dont expect everybody to complete this spin and if people want to bail at any stage thats fine. There are loads of places to do it. I wont be galloping along but I wont be stopping.
The only part that you wont be familiar with is Knockree to Annacrivey. But if you make it with me to the youth Hostel at Knockree then you will be able to stay with me for that section as its on the road.
Well once again lies lies lies, the spin started in palmers and the race to Djouce started at the entrance of palmers!! What happened to taking it handy on the road out and then non stop off road. I was really looking forward to giving it socks with the fast lads and even drive out to save a bit of energy so I could keep up but no yeh cnuts ****ed off. So I won't bother me bollix again I'll do and run

Well I found that tough enough, I thought we'd regroup in djouce, but bam ,off we went,
fairly lively too !! Pretty tired now especially after breaking my saddle, the last bit nearly killed my legs.
ye it was all going great untill i had a full body dab at the bottom of mini bog of death, then i used up all my energy trying to catch up with the pack on the road back to 3 rock and could'nt handle the next bit up the rockey hill, i lost sight of everyone by then so i wont home via metro and boneshaker. good spin anyway!!
Great spin today didn't try to keep up once we left palmers so I bridged the gap till djouce, just as I got in saw the tail end of the fast guys starting the climb not a chance we would have kept up after that. So Smithers led the group out of a surprisingly dry djouce into crone and across the bridge to the soul destroying field. Couple of tough climbs at a nice pace onto glencullen where we met a near dead Roo and Bon. Then onto 3 rock via the field and ewoks then on home in just over 3 hours great bunch of lads out thanks for that!
well now that was an exceptional spin..
Doris and Pollock set the pace on the road and I sat in, by the time I got to the Bus washing place only Oz was last..so I tipped along with him and we picked up BON and Roo and off we went.
XTC, BC, SOBC,Sliddery, Powerscourt, alternative route out of Powerscourt, Crone, Knockree, Annacrivey, rubbish trail, Mini Bog, Glencullen, Up the back of 3 Rock, 2 rock,Metro,RockNroller, Ewoks and palmers.
Now lads it was hard going but I waited for several people at several occasions. So it wasn't as blistering as it could have been.
I think our spin took 3 hours 10 mins. Poor old Roo..its a much harder route back then going from Lamb Doyles.
going up past the Pet Sematary and the rubbish trail and the minibog..classic climb there ! fair play to Smithers, the mulveys, Clom and PaddyD for doing such a savage spin and Richard and the girls as well. its deadly to have so many spins going on at the same time. We lost mick maughan at the same time we gained Adrian ( Hennessy) . Nice one. The cranky lady at the youth hostel was hilarious, she couldnt cope with 20 lads all apologising.
We left Colm ( mcgarvey) in Palmers demolishing 2 carverys and a fresh cod and chips.
I got a text from BON saying he was alive !
