Tuesday 31st - Road Spin - 6.30pm

Leaving Foxrock Church at 6.30pm. Usual steady spin. 50km@25-26 kph. Wrap up well - gonna be cold!

Also, I'm coming back into town through Bray Rd climb, Enniskerry and Kilternan to get a few more drags into the spin.

Nah ..... I'm afraid Caroline sees me as a rather elderly father figure and I think there was more than a hint of sarcasm in her comment!

I was 1min late so I had to chase the group, then I found Terry and Smithers fixing a puncture (I think as I only saw someone's large bum so I assumed it was him). When I finally caught up just before Bray everyone turned back!
I was in the zone at that stage so decided to rock on up Bray Rd and home via Enniskerry, some drop in temperature once you get up there! Still, good spin and a nice way to finish the base mile January!

We weren't turning back Max, we were just doing a loop between the roundabouts to let Smithers and Terry get back on!
Another nice steady Tuesday night spin - no rain and not too windy! 62kms and 26km/hr - bang on target again! Thanks everybody!

Yea funny Smithers showing me his puncture proof tyres. So I jinksed him and within 5 mins I'm helping him out.

Yep s big tnx to Nipples for staying and helping, would have been horrible trying to get back on my own, cheers Mr Nipp. As RL says great spin, perfect weather really crispy dry and wind in our face going out and pushing us along on the way back. My favourite part of road biking is the lack of shlomp and gack on your clothes when you get home, you can actually get into the nip on the house instead of the shed hahaha. Cheers RL.
