Anybody keen on a long slow s4 pace spin tomorrow say mid morning. Feel like getting out on the bike for a few hours and doing a longer trip than the usual, hoping to be out for 3 hrs....might even take a camel back and a gillet but don't tell ritchie that :)
Friday spin
in fairness..you can wear a camelback when you are not racing and you're bike is one of this new fangled full suspendered ones and you can't fit your tube and your co2 canister into your seat pack because you have have brought along a packed lunch your Mum made for you and a nice newspaper for you to read and sit on for when you have your picnic !
ANd no sleeves..its like the freakin Sahara out there today !

Deal, will forgo the sleeves but if I am out for 3+ hours I'll need a snack/picinic or I'll pass out, us fatboys use up tonnes of energy getting around. My camelpack is a small sleek job not one of these giant mules....I'll try make my own sandwiches, Moms in Belfast and the PB&J will go all soggy if I get her to drive one down to me. The newspaper is a nice touch I'd not thought of, thanks.
All jokes aside, any feedback or links to strava feeds of a good 40-50k loop, ideally avoiding the road, but dont mind coming back on the road if need be. Did one before linking Djouce and Balli, but open to suggestions

On another note, I have some footage of the Gride race from our "tour de Byrner" walk around. Would you like me to email it to ya?

Gary, you can't beat the WW from 3 rock to Djouce for miles and smiles, more than three hours with road spin back and be nice to the walkers. Ice cream in Enniskerry will get you home.
Cheers Don, will defo give that a go then thanks
