This is a major savage spin with no space for anybody other than Senior 1 /2 and the stronger senior 3 riders. It will not be at a gallop and it will not require the XC bike but if its all you have then fine.
I dont want to omit people from this spin of spins but lads, I am not babysitting.
I havent had a decent Sunday spin in ages and I scouted this route out a while back and its ferocious. Its spins like these that we train on Tuesdays so anybody who is doing my Tuesday spin is going to be able.
No I am not saying where its going because you wont understand it anyway just be at the coach house on Sunday, and no I am not going to the Blitz..and yes you will need the all day breakfast in the Pub afterwards.
Now folks..if you want to go on these spins, its for the 6.45 people on Tuesdays or the 6.30 people on Thursdays. I dont want to see you on this spin if you werent on either mine or Robins either of the nights, I will not repeat how serious this one is.

ah yeah..a small but tight group headed out from Roundwood this morning..in through G Ride, up scarr , down scarr , past Lough Dan up the WW into the Pog, down the pog, through Fruitcake and the Blast course and then a fine lunch in Roundwood..yeah yeah..so I relented and waited for Damo and Max when they held us up but sure they are like my children ! spin of the year so far folks..mother of baby Jesus..Scarr was just superb , the Lough Dan descent off it and the mental singletrack we never did before was just the icing on the cake..then the POG..ah here..thanks to Jackson as well for keeping manners on me ! And fair play to Max whos new forum Name should be Kunt von Strava !!

Yeah brilliant spin, the descent off Scarr was class... the best bit of mtbing this year (so far!). POG is always fantastic and Jackson's Fruitcake wasn't that bad either
Broke another suspension link (that's the 3rd one I snapped) on the Lapierre....I think I'm too strong for those feeble French bikes. I'll need another link or a new frameset, I'm feckin fed up with it at this stage!!!
Now let's see what Strava thinks about this spin :D
Spin of of my life so far it'll be hard to top that loved scar on the big cross breed bike all I need now is very cheap big travel front forks and the grub in the couch house was savage thanks Richie and happy anniversary to you and carol
Deadly deadly deadly! I spent ages last night figuring out the route, but fair play to Richie he kept the pace calm, and thanks for waiting. Its so much better craic going around with the group. The descent to Lough Dan just puts a massive smile on your face. I went over the bars about 10 seconds in, not paying attention, but had great fun down the rest of it. Even the steep bits before the road were hilarious! The POG trails are brilliant. Great craic in the pub after. Im only coming back to life now!
Just want to do it all again next week!
Holy cow where do I start..... I suffered seriously on the climb up scar, but the descent (even on my hard tail) was savage. The funniest was the descent to lough Dan, I ended up on a savage single track descent going too fast to stop so just had to ride it, it was amazing. Thanks a million Richie for hanging back and keeping me going when I was really suffering and Orla it's great to have another chick out on theses savage spins we really helped each other out.
