Tuesday training Spin 6.30 - 6.45 Lambe Doyles every week

MET Office me hole, lashing rain, me hole, it was fab up there this eve, got a bit chilly towards the end but for most of it, it was deadly, and dry in most parts, we just dont realize how lucky we are to have 3 rock, the leadmines, djouce all within a half hour cycle feckin deadly. 38k and 1138mt of climbing around 3 rock for Raydar this eve, met superstar J McCall with his champion kit on very snazzy Joey, we did a little bit with Joe and Gordon then we met RL on Metro 2, didnt see the rest of you though, hope you all had a good one.

well that was one of the best spins I've ever been on..I sent Andy on with the main bunch because I wasn't sure what I was doing , the thoughts of riding the Zesty back on the road didn't appeal to me so me, Coyner, Phil, Stet , Ken and Oz decided we would do our own thing. We let them on and then Oz decided feck it he was going to try and catch up so I said yeah feck it, we'll go as far as Glencullen and see what happens.
So off we went and caught Kevin L with some sort of mechanical, coming in to Ticknock we caught Kellyer and Chris, then we caught Orla who had a crash and Gary, then caught the rest of the bunch at Toms. So Me and Cloyner and Andy L led the group up to Kilmashogue where I waited for Ken but he never appeared , so I went after the group and caught up at the Junction of the Woccas, then we went off down this and Oscar took off while Colm whammied me involuntarily, I caught up with Chris and SteT on the road.
I decided that I wasn't going to go up Glencullen and I took off with Coyner, Phil and Stet up to Johnny Foxes , we went up by Freds, down MX, RocknRoller,Aggro and across BLT and down the dreamtrack..nonstop for us and at a great pace.
I saw the two girls Shona and Caroline as I was leaving and that was it, great spin, great pace and a great group. Thanks for waiting Andy !

Well that was good I thought it was going to be miserably wet but the gods where good we had a deadly spin we done the big loop I went over the bars on bag of chips. But green mile was ok super spin whit a super bunch these are hear to stay now I will be there each week rain or shine thanks

Oh yesh... great to do the old loop of pain again. Byrner was on his fancypants big bike so decided to do the race loop with the bunch. The mini-bog was very boggy and Ravens was heavy going but Bag O Chips was feic'n awesome to the max... super slippy with roots of death, it rreally doesnt get any better than that, has to be one of the all time best bits of singletrack out there. Back on the road at a sensible pace with Colm doing all the work at the front. Cheers lads, looking forward to more of these when I get back from GC. Oh by the way did I mention Im going to GC for two weeks of sunshine and singletrack...

Great to have the Tuesday loop back. Enniskerry road felt like it was never going to end. Some crashes tonight. Not sure who it was but he had two over the bars in the space of 5 minutes.

I was already for the end of days last night but it was lovely. Caroline and I had plans to do the usual spin but after the Woccas I was feeling awful, way too much cheese and wine in france at the weekend so when we hit the road we went over to the leadmines did a lap of the club course and headed back. The course is grand, full of puddles, but God knows what it'll be like after the rain predicted today...

That was me with the over the bars incidents - I have this strange knack of finding muck filled holes exactly 13 inchs deep by 26 inches wide, riding into them, vaulting over the handlebars and swearing profusely!

Other than that the spin was grand. Ravens rock needs a few days with a Hymac, several hundred metres of wavin pipe and a few lorry loads of gravel and stone... though I think the place would happily swallow the lot and revert to same! ;-)

Well I had a disaster last night. just coming over the hump onto the fireroad before Toms, the wheel turns one way and the bars the other. Forgot to tighten up the stem after last thursdays over the bars incident. so seeing this I immediately had to bail out the back of the bike. walloped my head, and when I reached around to get my multitool to tighten the stem, realised Id pulled something in my shoulder. Eventually got going although riding the waterbars and the woccas was a disaster with no strength in my arm, so I was woeful, and ended up getting a burp, or maybe a puncture. not sure, but it wouldnt stay up, so after stopping several times to gas it, I decided it was time for a tube. It was dark by the time we were going down bag of chips, so we skipped the dream mile and short cutted home. Thankfully Gary stuck with me. We could see a big black rain cloud spewing its guts over prince willies, but luckily it didnt catch us. A black cat swaggered across our path later. is that good or bad luck? I spat at it anyway. Was frozen by the time we got back to lambers, and they'd stopped serving food. Gadam.....
Shoulder is pretty sore today. hope it clears up before the weekend.

Fantasic spin ...Rock 'n' Roll was bone dry and coming off Dreamtrack looking at the crazy pink clouds was bliss....addictive stuff! Cheers to Colm, John Canto and Andy for the craic.
