The one Tuesday I managed to get out on an Epic spin and half an hour in I got a poxy rip in my tyre and then a hundred yards after I fitted a tube the valve exploded!!
Very long walk back to the car.

that was a great spin for me, Steo, Doris , Colm McG and Micky..Alfie and Max fecked off on their own loser spin but we stayed on the course..great night for a spin. Some gallop back on the road with Doris and Steo.
Bag of Chips was mental and I discovered its more serious half sister to the left of it ...whoooa..
Anyway, its a shame more people are not coming on these spins, we met Lynchy for a while..and I can confirm that a Zesty is not the bike of choice for fireroads and definitely not that poxy road back to Lambe Doyles..jeeesus I thought I'd never get back to the bleedin place..I would also like to say i am missing SMithers and Terry on these spins. Its just not the same without them.

Oh yeah some spin tonight! We did the Sunday spin on a Tuesday in 2,5h. Sorry we fecked off but you don't get evenings like today very often and we decided to make the most of it. It's still very wet up there but great nevertheless. Micky is flying.... I can see him on the podium this Sunday!

I enjoyed that more than I thought I would ! Had a long day knocking out a wall in my house my arms where still vibrating from the kango hammer when I pulled up at lambs ! Could just see Richie for most of the spin until bag of chips then could not catch them but I had a good spin whit no stops 1hour 53 mins I'll have to see can I beat that next time thanks all

In fairness Max, if I was on my XC machine I would have done the same spin..I caught Colm on the Woccas and when we got to the Tarmac, I just gave up..the Zesty is not bad under me on the tarmac and Fireroad but it just feels wrong..I over took him again on Bag of chips and was gaining on Mickky when I decided to wait for the other old fart and we tootled along to Enniskerry with Colm and Steo..then Colm took off like a mad yoke when we could see Miccky in the distance..then Steo went with him and me and john just went along having a chat..then as we neared Stepaside I got a pain in my arse looking at Steo up the road and put the hammer down and we caught him going up the road to Lambe doyles..don't ever try this sort of stupidity on a freeride bike ..I thought I was going to have a heart attack going up the hill after ALfie and max at Kilmashogue..I can't wait to get my hardtail. If Steo doesn't get a podium in s3 I will be shocked ! Hes motoring..some craic going along the road to Lambe doyles with me and Doris shouting abuse at him !

Well I felt like I wanted to puke out all my insides on the way up the hill. Richie was going to wait, but soon got sense and joined the fit lads. I was going slow but steady, then got a puncture on the woccas. I was happy to just make my way around the loop at a pace that I could manage. Lovely evening for it. Clom amd Colm were leaving a note on my car when I returned. Telling me to call or theyd call out a rescue party. Bless! Nice to know theres someone looking for you. Thanks lads.
