Today I rode up Camaderry with a chap from Kingdom Bike..it was feckin awesome..100% rideable even up the damp bit near the lower lake, there was some swamp there alright but once off the top all the way to the grass and down was amazing , however , the bit just before the rock of death is fairly chewed up by walkers..the feckers must delight in walking p to their knees in muck.
Tomorrow is National Ride Camaderry Day !!
I tell you , we are so lucky to have these mountains on our doorstep and poxed that I found the trails while looking for secret Crags to climb because thats the only reason I went up these places in the first instant..
Racing is great and all but when you get a day like that and you get up and down in 2 hours with hardly any stops..its hard to picture doing anything else..then I nipped into Djouce on the way home for a lap and I have to say poor Djouce, its being ridden to death..XTC and BC are fairly chewed up..SOBC is the same as always but the Earls drive is very rough and damp still..
