Well that was a good trip Caralina's mum said she wanted to take myself and Caralina to Scotland my job was to drive .. So it was not ment to be an Mtb holliday but when they mentioned going to ness I noted that fort William was close enough to there and talked them Into a little trip out that way so I sent Caralina and her mum on a steam train for the day on Monday so I could spend the day uninterrupted at Ben Nevis the highest mountain in uk at 1344 meters and home of the fort William Mtb trails whit car lift going up to 650 meters where you have a choice of a world cup down hill run which I did not have the right bike for or the red run which is all mountain stuff so I went for that whit some amount of board walks scary when your that high off the ground !!! To bedrock to single track super fast !! And then there is 25 k of mountain bike trails one is the 8.5 km world champ course and there is a 10 mile track called Ben under the ten some technical bits .. There is also a choice of skills courses and a cafe at the bottom and the top of the mountain showers bike wash and good parking you only have to pay for the chairlift if you want to use it which costs 12.75 pound for one go or 30 for a full day !! We found a nice b&b which was full in the town centre but she had a flat at the back for rent 25 per person per night it would take 4 self catering !! Some amount off mountains over there be deadly to go whit the club for an Mtb Holliday !!
