Similar pace/route to last week. We'll be trying very hard to keep the group together so if you feel you're too strong for a steady pace then the Thursday night Worcie Spin is the place for a PRO like you!
However I've decided that having the whole bunch sitting around while somebody fixes a puncture is a waste of time and a pain in the arse for everybody so we won't be stopping unless somebody has a proper mechanical that they can't fix on their own! So it's really important that everybody is self sufficient - 2 tubes, pump, levers, multi-tool etc. Obviously, given that we're gentlemen(!!!), this won't apply to the ladies ....!
Great crowd out last week, it would be nice to see a similar gang and to keep it together till the end!
I am but in the over 50's , hes the Enduro Elite Pro King Of 3 Rock Champ..wheres all your mates..the ones that only ride their bikes once in a blue moon and never offroad ? I'll have top International MTB Downhill rider Pro lad Dan Sheridan as well but not till next week..
Really good spin tonight! Smaller, more manageable gang and I think everybody enjoyed themselves. Good steady pace with no hanging around. Fair dues to Richie .... he behaved impeccably from start to finish!!!! Nearly 75kms for me at a 27kms/hr average! Big thanks to everybody!
Well done RL, great spin far quicker then last week but still nice and steady. Richie is right some awful arsehole drivers out there, we have never been more organised on a road spin, either in twos or single file and no half wheeling and they decide tonight is the time to use their horns!!
jaysus..one came so close to me and Ken on the N11, some of their paint rubbed off on my tights !! as for the feckin halfwit when we were going out on the n11 to Loughlinstown..if I'd been at the back I would have stopped and lost the head.
Great spin guys, much better than last week... more organised, faster but steady pace and everyone with more or less the same ability on the road... Thanks Richard... Some lunatics in cars (and buses) alright. Anyone who was feeling strong at the end of that spin should go along to WORC spin Thursday eve. Be warned though, not for day dreamers!!!
