That was just a great spin! 12/13DegC - that's warmer than some of the days during the 'summer'.
Carol, Erica and myself headed up past the blue light, straight into some steep climbing action -all the way to the ariels via the old/new enduro track parallel to roc n'rolla. At the gate on the way up - with Byrner's magical advice in mind we all took a layer or too off due to the balmy conditions! in fact I had shorts on it was so flipping hot-to-the-max. The view out over the city we could agree on; could be described as 'HD' you could see the whole east coast.
At the fireroad we played hot-pursuit until we got to the barnaculla section of the KO3R enduro trail - okay it's cut to bits; but, because it was dry(ish) it was riding great, everyone was Flying along whooping-and-a-hollarin all the way down, from there the long haul back the fireroad to the top of T-connector - my old friend decided it was time to chew me up and spit me out into some gorse! ouchy. great crash all the same! that learned me!
Then we went like headless chickens down T-connector, Roc n rolla, part of the old MAD club course and home. Deadly spin, dealy trails, dealy weather and totally deadly people! Ericas unintentional one foot clipped-in endo at this point was spectacular.
There are lots of people in this club - can't understand why more of them don't make this spin, it's a get place to develop the technical skills, no trails are avoided, everything is ridden and nothing dodged! it's really enjoyable!

Yeah what a spin! Lovely evening, could have stayed out for hours! Big thanks to John, I like his rules 'go as fast as you can till we stop', so it was pretty much a non stop spin, well except for couple of mins to take off one of my 5 layers! maybe the footie socks were a little too much! john is gonna be picking gorse out of his butt for weeks ha :)
