yeah that was the bomb (as they used to say in 2001). Really enjoy the Wednesday night spin, The granite was glowing with frost up there, it looked amazing. Clear cold night over the city, eejits in tailbacks, lunatics on mountain bikes. Crackly puddles of water and ice, clouds of vapour trails from working lungs, tyres pinging with way too much pressure, fingers numb with cold (but not for long!).
It wasn't long before the heat got me and I was stripping the layers off. it's amazing what the body can do, it was maybe 2 degC and the sweat was pouring! Great fun spin, man I'm so blind at night, decided to become well aquainted with some bushes on the way over to the Woccas - glad they weren't gorse.
Great to be on a spin with the legendary Limey - it's been too long. Great craic. Buzzin!
