well that was a brilliant spin, a great bunch of people out , everybody is riding brilliant. 3 ladies, Carol, Erica and Shona..fantastic loop, Ronan ran out of light, so did Erica and the Culchie had a brilliant meltdown !! A big thanks to Jack for being sweeper..In fact I'd go as far as to say these spins wouldn't be the same without a senior rider like himself coming along and helping me out. It wouldn't do any harm for some of our other Committee members and senior riders helping me out on these also, none of you were that superstarish when I met you. It took some of you a long time before you were moulded into the winners you are today. Harri is the new Alfie..hes flying and its safe to say that the Giant Trance is the greatest bike ever made..thanks folks
I have to say I am seriously impressed with my Wednesday night crew, Harri has hardly missed one and Ronan is really coming along , Harri has improved so much its amazing and the girls are brilliant, tonight it was seriously feckin nasty up there , our new guy Gary is going to be a savage in no time.
I'm going to the Outsider awards next Wednesday so tonight was the last one before Christmas..we'll kick it off again in the New Year..they are the highlight of the week for me as they are teaching me how to be a nice guy, so its as big a benefit to me as to the people who come along on them and its brilliant to see the improvements they are making..in a corner of my sitting room there is some feckin pile of trophies I have collected over the past few years and none of them are worth the buzz I see people get out of biking.
My goal for 2013 is to see Harri get a podium and Ronan racing again after 16 years and Shona get a podium in the Ladys Gravity Enduro and Carol ride the Roc D'Azur. I think I'd like to make another go at the DH NPS myself..on board a Giant Glory maybe or I wonder would I get away with a trance..I think the Trance could do it all.

Thanks to your help I really feel i've improved as a rider, I was so tired going out the door last night, I had come from Killkenny to Carlow to work (tough day too!!) from there to Dublin and then out with my mates on my bike - for a club with 150 people it's amazing that more people aren't on these. there are people all over the island would would kill to be on a spin like it! Think about that. I was so glad to be there!
Thanks for setting my goal for next year - you're right I have to podium in some disipline - I'd love to give some XC races a go next year and some enduro! that would be the job! ! !

that meltdown was a 13 on an Ayling scale
What a spin! the funniest thing EVER was the culchie having a hissy fit and fecking his bike into the ground, and with a tuft of grass in the back of his helmet ha ha Classic! Thanks to Richie and co for a deadly spin, and to Carol for the lend of the light for the way home, and to whoever it was that was behind me with their blinkey light, lighting my way, sorry i didnt catch your name. it was like the blind leading the blind! :)
Great spin, not all ways a fan of 3 rock but that was a deadly loop, with the trail in fairly good shape. The last trail down in to ewoks is pretty awesome . Well done people
