If I make this it will be a miracle because I have 2 beautyfull lady's beside me I am into my second bottle of aldi's finest whisky, and still not finished! Enjoy the spin

Well, only Canto and Daniel turned up for the spin of the year (so far!)
We headed up past the Blue Light, past the masts and onto the Wickla Way. It was very icy so we gingerly made our way over the slippery rocks against the freezing wind. Daniel got a pinch flat just before the turn off for Ravens Rock. He had no tube or pump with him (bad mark against you for that Daniel!)
The wind chill was extreme and by the time we fixed the puncture we were frozen. It was decided that Maulin might be a step too far given the conditions and the fact that we now only had one tube between three of us. We turned off the WW towards Ravens Rock but poor old Canto had an over the bars. He ended up soaked and covered in slime. We stopped at Ravens Rock for jellies and photos then headed to Bag O' Chips, or what's left of it. Tree felling has obliterated the trail. The Green Mile was barricaded so we came back up to the lane and followed it down to the road.
We headed up the Devils Elbow and said goodbye to Daniel. Then met Robin for a brief chat (too cold for hanging around) and I parted company with Canto at Johnny Fox's. A quick sprint down the road and I was back at Lambers.
The report might seem a bit grim but it was more enjoyable than it sounds and it was great to be out.

46k for me today on the mtb. just the 3 of us in lambs so off we went, i was flying over the ww water bars in the sunshine,when there was no sign of the lads i went back saw Daniel had a puncture & no frickin tube, so we sorted him out but we couldn't go on with the original spin which was a shame so colm decided to take us through the bog, disaster, never again. lost my mojo in that bog somewhere and never warmed up again. Daniel make sure you run your tubeless without a tube next time and carry a spare.

anybody who turns up on an EPIC spin without a tube or pump is automatically evicted from the CLub..its not as if I havent warned people , over and over again . We will not tolerate this whatsoever, everybody knows its the mortal sin of MTB..anybody who does is gets abandoned and loses their rights to any spin .
