Thursday 6.00 Ru's Rip..taylors

Howdy folks, heading to 3 Rock up Taylors with Ru tomorrow .. if anybody wants to intercept us we'll be heading up to Ticknock, across to Toms, and up to Kilmashogue, then Down metro and across BLT to the old mad course up Spartacus and down a new trail with a big jump then back up the horrible fireroad of death you should have met us by then..probably aim to intercept us at the bottom of Metro

Sneaking out of work early for this one !!

I hear..no feckin xc bikes !! I'm sick of turning up on night spins with people on XC bikes while I'm on my 6" bike with a camelback..you fookers are getting soft !

that was a grade A spin, exactly what the CLub was founded on, a bunch lads riding hard falling hard and laughing there bollox off...from the horrible road race to Tcknock, the horrible horrible climb up to the metro, up the metro was fun..down to Toms was funner, met Steo, went across BLT lower , in to spartacus..
Lesson 1 don't get a puncture in the snow or you are doomed..some craic pelting Canto with snowballs as he tried to fix his puncture..classic
then down the deadly descent and the best bit of the whole spin..riding down the icy snow covered descent after the bottom of the ewoks..brilliant spin with a brilliant bunch of lads..thanks Ru, some legend !!

Good man Byrne. Was just about to post up a quick spin report but you've saved me the hassle. Brilliant fun out there this evening. Sounded like night of the living dead at times there was so much groaning and shouting, bodies landing in slushy puddles and what not. You need to have a good snow spin under your belt every so often. Makes you appreciate being able to steer your bike the rest of the time. Roll on next Thursday. Nice one Roo.

Thanks lads, Its a pleasure to cycle with a bunch of good guys, steo had an engine on that trance , motoring alone and the boy racer kelly! flying , Bon not a peep out of you , with that groin strain ,everyone worked so hard to get around keeping it chipper right till the end with a cracking downhill finish. tune in next week for a more stable rip! thanks Richie , your some man for one man.
